Education First is an education company, but we also want to be a frontrunner when it comes to the educational technology industry. This all starts with a strong tech recruitment process.

Education first sends 250,000 students a year from the United States to all corners of the world. This means that they also need to processes hundreds of thousands of students passport information.

I worked as a freelance developer helping Hirenotes build out their front end platform built in Angular.js. I worked on their login and account pages.

I worked with DIY Model Source to re-build their website, building with an e-commerce platform and integrating chat support, couponing, and more.

I worked with the Livwell team to build out a mobile application to be used in the Wechat ecosystem in Shanghai. The application is built in React.js and there is an associated web scraper that runs at regular intervals to collect data from other listing websites in the area. The team and I scraped over 180,000 listings and translated them to Chinese using googles cloud API suite for the application launch.

I led a project regarding italki’s SEO techinical and content strategy from December 2017, leading to massive increases in impressions and clicks

I worked with the Glippy team to build out a pitch prototype of their students reward app. The prototype is a simple React.js application with a slide-to-redeem function for individual coupons built for anti-fraud purposes.

I worked with the team at ElitePal to build out a custom english test to be administered to students of ages 7-15.
